I have recently come across what is known as the Möbius strip. What I am about to try to explain has the potential to make your brain hurt.
CAUTION: FOLLOWING MAY CAUSE HEADACHE!
The Möbius strip is a form of what some people would call 'The 5th Dimension'.
Pictureing the 1st Dimention would result in a single dot. Something that is in the 2nd Dimension must be flat and must end at some given place or time. The 3rd Dimension as we know has length, width, and height and does not have to end at any given point or time. The 4th Dimension is like the 2nd Dimension but interfaces with time. It would be like a person's life. At one end of the strip of life would be the child form of the person in the 3rd Dimention and the elderly form at the other. Now to bring it one more step would lead to something like the Möbius strip. The 5th Dimention is similar the 4th Dimention except time is endless. The Möbius strip only has one continuous side. If you were to picture it as a road, it would never end.
Just looking at this picture blows my mind.
